At Boston Airport, two United Airlines flights clip their wings, causing no injuries.
According to the station, passengers on both flights were rebooked on Monday afternoon flights. The incident was deemed somewhat jarring by passengers.
According to CNN, citing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), two United Airlines flights that were scheduled to depart from Boston Logan International Airport made contact on Monday around 8:30 a.m. local time. There were no reports of harm. The incident that involved two United Airlines flights has been the subject of an investigation by the FAA.

CNN reports that the FAA stated in a statement, “As a tow tug was pushing it back from the gate at Boston Logan International Airport, the right wing of United Airlines Flight 515 struck the tail of United Airlines Flight 267 around 8:30 a.m. local time this morning,” in reference to the incident.

The statement continued, “Both aircraft were Boeing 737s that were scheduled for departure.”
According to the station, passengers on both flights were rebooked on Monday afternoon flights. According to CNN, which cited its affiliate WHDH, passengers described the incident as somewhat jarring. Martin Neusch, a passenger, emphasized that it was “just a pretty big shake.”

“While we were on the plane, it just clipped the wings, so the two wings clipped each other on the plane,” Neusch continued. According to CNN, a passenger named Nicholas Leone reported that, in the meanwhile, “I felt a sudden jolt and look to my right to see that the plane had crashed into the still plane.”

In addition, Nicholas Leone stated that after witnessing the police and fire trucks, individuals were somewhat alarmed. “Thankfully everyone was able to offboard quickly,” he added. The incident that occurred on Monday morning between two flights, according to the CNN report, comes after a string of five close calls earlier this year, including the one that occurred last week in Boston Logan.
