Leadership is the focus, not Harry and Meghan.

In the six-part Netflix docuseries Live to Lead, Harry and Meghan collaborate with the Nelson Mandela Foundation. The show is not just about Harry and Meghan; it covers a lot more ground than that.
The seven 25-minute episodes of Netflix’s Live to Lead feature interviews with leaders in a variety of fields, such as Greta Thunberg, the late Associate Justice of the Supreme Court; Gloria Steinem, anti-apartheid activist Albie Sachs, South African national rugby team captain Siya Kolisi, and advocate Bryan Stevenson Three weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s six-part documentary series, Harry & Meghan, came out, Live to Lead was released. In 2020, Harry and Meghna reportedly agreed to a $100 million contract with Netflix, under which they would collaborate on a number of projects.

The docuseries is presented by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and is directed by Geoff Blackwell Live to Lead. Additionally, they are the executive producers. The seven-part series includes interviews with world leaders and activists whose ideals and actions have changed the world. Live to Lead on Netflix is based on Nelson Mandela’s beliefs, life, and struggles.

However, Nelson Mandela’s grandkid makes it abundantly clear that Harry and Meghan’s struggles cannot be compared to Nelson Mandela’s. Prince Harry, Meghan, and their co-producers select Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Greta Thunberg, Bryan Stevenson, Jacinda Ardern, Siya Kolisi, Gloria Steinem, and Albie Sachs. In a 30-minute episode, they each talk about their life experiences.
Even though “Live to Lead” is incredibly motivating, there is nothing new we can take away from it. In some ways, I would say that it lacked the engaging quality of many Netflix docuseries, particularly the previous Harry & Meghan. It lacks anything gripping or life-altering.

If you ask me, which one was my favorite? The most motivating was, in my opinion, the first one about Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and her campaign for gender equality in the law for women in the United States. The reason Meghan and Harry, the Sussexes who co-produced it, were reading the series was the funniest part, though. a point I’ll let you all think about!
